In Luxembourg, the public compelled Parliament to debate two petitions in the Chambre des Députés:

  • Debate 3023 (June 2024): Recognition of the State of Palestine

  • Debate 3231 (July 2025): Sanctions against Israel’s policies in Palestine

A Luxembourg-based research group published a report outlining measures the government could take to avoid complicity in the genocide. The report was made public and distributed to Members of Parliament on the day of the debate on Petition 3231.
